Cycling dae todae..
Ya haven touched my bike for quite a while
Morning
Vince stayed over my place so we could cycle to church together. Woke up early at 0545..slack a while n set off at 0630 Easy ride coz we were riding quite slow at least for me..As we were passing Bukit Timah somewhere near church..We realised there were quite a bit of cyclers around e Bukit Timah...were overtaken by roadies n some mtb-ers..even a bangalesh worker...couldnt swallow tt down..wanted to catch them like wat i always do..but my restrain was the lousy bike vince was using(it was mine i noe how lousy it was) so gave chase for a while n gave up..REached church at ard 0740 quite early..
Lunch time
After service someone pointed out tt Vince had a flat..Didnt noe how tt happened but hope he didnt cycle to church with a leaking tyre..felt quite guilty(no i didnt puncture his tyres) y didnt i see it...it would have been quite obvious...So Vince me n Zongren set out on a mission Operation: Fix a flat..Fiirst we went to shell to pump up e tyre in hope tt the damage wasnt so bad but within secs e tyre was almost losing all its air(vince carried e bike there n i carried it back)..plan B we went to e church office to savage any tools we could find..Spent a lot of time taking out e wheel..e bolt was too tight n we werent too sure which direction to turn e bolt n it was very tight..after tt we removed e inner tubing..strangely Zongren seemed to have some experience like he knew wat to do..Found 3 holes in the inner tube..wahzz..tts alot..Patched the holes with cloth tape n went back to e shell station to check if there was any leak...all was fine...Went back to church fitted the tyre back wanted to go to e station to pump air..Hide den popped in n said there was a bike shop at West lake there...wahzz..all our efforts went to waste when the mechanic fixed everything in 5 mins n removed e tube we fixed haizz...Guess my hopes of being a bike mechanic failed
After lunch
Since ZongRen had to book in early i suggested cycling to his place n also to check the reputed..Tiong Hin bike shop..at least next time me stuck in Hougang i would noe my way back..Travelled from Coronation down to Adam Rd to Lornie Rd to Ang Mo kio turn in and out wahzz..tiring lehzz..was wondering where it was..anyway i realised tt Zongren was quite slow while we were resting realised tt Zongren's front derailuer cannot catch on to e biggest chainring n tt e previous owner pulled his brakes too tight coz-ing traction while moving..When we reached the bike shop..the owner didnt even examine the fault properly n said it was spoilt either get new one or contact the previous owner..I was like..wat..reputed one of the best service providers didnt get a hack abt the customer..Disappointing..Anyway got to see a Sintesi n f3000(Cannondale)..drool drool..the pple hanging out there were discussing Cannondale on the verge of bankrupcy..oh no..
Travelling Back
Nothing much..stopped at Pee's place n chat wif him for a while..lent him my bike..

Learnt how to patch a tyre without patch kit
Stopped by Pee's place to pass him the bike(lend him til he gets his super high speed racer..use my fren's bike for the time being)...Got new tricks up his sleeve way cool..
